Arrival Story:
well, graci was a gift from an ex....the ex had offered to buy me a dog if i moved in with him...of course i said yes and would have said yes with out the dog...well i researched all the breeds and finally settled on mini schnauzers....my parents had one, Jazz when i was a baby....well, the ex wanted me to wait till i officially moved in, but i begged and pleeded and finally he conceeded...he said on a friday, nov 15 '02 that he suggested i look in the local paper for ads....well wouldn't you know, there she was...with 2 sisters...what a coincidence, since schnauzers were not popular in DC...anyway, saturday morning the ex called craig the breeder at 9am....that was very unlike the ex, as he would always sleep in...and he asked the appropriate questions and received the appropriate responses (yippee), but said that two families were headed to his house that morning and that he only had 2 females left...oh my...craig said he would call if anything changed...well he called and we went over craig's house...graci was the mild, timid, and whiny one....the one you SHOULD NOT buy...and her sister, all white, was just friendly and outgoing...well, since me & the ex, had a weimaraner inthe house already, i decided to get graci cause she was salt & pepper and thought the dirt wouldn't show much....and she's been an absolute PLEASURE from that day forth....and that's how graci came home with me...

wow....bow wow wow wow....yesterday was such an exciting day....if u didn't know, dogster choose my diary, yes you heard right...my diary as diary of the day....would you believe it...little ole me....so for those of you who don't know...that means your picture is on the front page....yep, ffffrrrrroooooont page.....i pranced around all day yesterday....and i made so many many new friends....for you, two-legged friends, it was like having your picture in the newspaper or being on tv....well i want to give a BIG PAW THANKS to dogster.com for recognizing true beauty and talent :)

My mommy wanted to share this recipe she came across....sounds delicious!!
Take one schnauzer puppy (mini preferred), roll and play with her until slightly spoiled, and add the following ingredients:
1 cup patience
1 cup understanding
1 pinch correction
1 cup hard work
2 cups praise
1 1/2 cups fun
Blend well. Heat with the warmth of he heart until the consisence is such that dog and human are one.

let me set the record straight!!! [paws on hip] ... my little brother just told you guys that me and lucky always lose to him and Jazz in tag.....well, what he FORGOT to mention is that Jazz and Lucky also taught him to CHEAT....that's right, the cat's out the bag....yeah, when we race, i'm actually the swiftest....the reason they "win" and i use that term lightly, is because when i'm out in front, during a race, all three of the start to bite on my hips (like predator action) and try to take me down, because they are afraid to let a GIRL beat them....they can't touch me...if they played fair!!! Grandpa, I know you'll read this....and you know i'm RIGHT!!!....houston is right about one thing....they do get on my nerves!!!!!
