He just prefers to take off on his own & visit (inside) the neighbors' homes.

Arrival Story:
One day when we lived in upstate New York, Cinder, Sancho and I got a call from a friend's husband. He asked us if we wanted Freckles because he said he couldn't keep him any longer. When questioned he said Freckles had bit his hand. Upon further discussion he admitted if I didn't take Freckles he would be "put down." I picked Freckles up that day after work and a few weeks later we moved back to Nebraska to take care of our Mom/Grammie Pearl.
Bio:
There were no bite marks on the guy's hand when I went to get Freckles. I also learned that the guy was yelling at Freckles & attempting to drag him out from under a piece of furniture. I would have bit him, too! Freckles is a good boy & he loves my mom & sleeps with her everynight.
