She doesn't play much anymore, but she used to love to sing with us.. aaaahhroooo!

Clara loves bananas, carrots and apples. Anything that falls on the floor is legally hers!

Arrival Story:
Clara was found by animal control wrapped up in a plastic bag and left for dead as a puppy. She was so abused, that she would wet the floor and cringe if my husband came in the house with a rolled up newspaper under his arm. It took lots of love and attention to get her to trust us enough to get a leash clipped on her collar. She became such a proud member of our family! She even saved our 18 month old son from an attack by another dog.
Bio:
Clara became paralyzed when she was 4 years old... we think she slipped on the ice and ruptured two discs in her back. We had surgery done on her back with a 50/50 chance of success and before you know it, she was walking again! She's not been able to go out for long walks where there is cement or blacktop since then, because her back feet drag slightly and it wears down her toenails. Up until last year, she still loved going for walks in the woods though! She still uses her doggie smile on us!
