Arrival Story:
Gypsy was a gift that was given to me when my husband died. A breeder that I had ordered a puppy from, Gypsy's granddaughter, knew we had lost our JJ to old age and diabetes and were without a dog, so when Jimmy died, and while I waited for Jellybean to be born, she just sent me Gypsy. Gypsy's flight from Toronto Canada was paid for by the breeder and a friend of mine, she was flown and picked up in Minneapolis by my very special friend who was like a daughter to me, Vera Fitterer, and then she drove three days to bring her to me the day before my husbands funeral. Gypsy was my solace, she knew a lot of loss in her short life and she was kind of lost in this new change too, so we clung to each other and helped each other through. Our love grew until she developed bone cancer and died within two weeks of official diagnosis. Gypsy was the sweetest kindest dog in the world. She was protective of me, slept in my bed and worked my cattle when I needed her to. She went everywhere I could safely take her, she was crate trained and just a wonderful wonderful sensitive dog. She always sensed when I needed her the most and she was RIGHT THERE. She had been bounced around a lot in her life but I promised her she would never be bounced again, and she wasn't. I held her in my arms as she took her last breath

Bio:
Gypsy is buried in my dog cemetery beside JJ and Sweet Pea. My three girls that I love and miss so much. Gypsy came to me in sorrow and knew sorrow of her own. She was one special girl and I am glad for the gift of such a fine registered Catahoula Leopard Dog. Missing her goes on and on, but I have two of her granddaughters, Jellybean and Keesha. A part of her always remains.
