Arrival Story:
Charlie needed a home and even though we had a 6 month old female dane named Rosie, we decided to take him in. He is a gem.

Bio:
Charlie is now a super senior with cushings but he is doing great. His hair is growing back and I might add it is quite wavy! Never seen a dane with wavy hair before!!! JUNE 14, 2006: CHARLIE PEACEFULLY WENT TO SLEEP IN OUR ARMS. HE HAD LIVER CANCER. WE WERE NOT READY FOR THIS EVEN THOUGH HE WAS 11 YEARS OLD. HE STOPPED EATING AND IN 4 DAYS HE LOST OVER 10 LBS. THEN CAME THE DIAGNOSIS!!! WE MISS HIM SO MUCH HE WAS THE BEST! THE HARDEST TIME OF DAY IS THE MORNING - HE ALWAYS GOT UP IN A HAPPY AND GREAT MOOD. HE WOULD JUMP INTO OUR BED AND ROLL ON HIS BACK FOR HIS EARLY MORNING BELLY RUB. HE WAS SO HAPPY TO SEE THE SUN RISE EVERY SINGLE MORNING. HE WAS SO "IMPOSING" AND "LOVING" AND WE JUST CAN'T BELIEVE HE IS NO LONGER WITH US.
