Quick Bio:

Birthday:
October 19th 2001

Likes:
Flyball and frisbee. He loves to chase balls, frisbees, and cars!! Anything that moves mostly. Brodie also likes to play agility, his favorite obstacle is the teeter!

Pet-Peeves:
Touching his ears! Never touch them, especially to take his temperature or clip his hair. He also hates loud noises and foreign objects. This causes him to hide under the bed, poor thing.

Favorite Toy:
The Kong, but he loves his Frisbee as long as someone is throwing it for him. His new favorite toy is the tug ball, it's huge and he loves to shake his head and growl when it's in house mouth.

Favorite Food:
Besides his dog food, he loves lettuce, carrots, and bananas. He loves to lick out my yogurt containers when I'm done too, he's a little spoiled.

Favorite Walk:
To the park to play frisbee, which he has just been allowed to do. Up until now he was not focused enough to be let off the leash because of his strong love to run and chase cars!

Best Tricks:
Brodie's best trick is "bang"! He also knows wave, spin, sit, down, and speak. His tricks also include being a speed demon at both flyball and frisbee. He loves running fast!

Arrival Story:
We got Brodie from a breeder just weeks before I bought my own house. I wanted a border collie so bad to live with me in my new home. There were two pups available and although the other one was more interested in people than Brodie, we loved him for his signs of curiosity in exploring. He seemed very independent and eager to check things out. During his training years when we were trying to teach him to listen and not to chase, I often dreamed of that other pup that was so focused on us when we were at the breeder's. But I'd never give up my Brodie for anything in the world, especially now that he has learned it is ok to stay close to me.

Bio:
Besides being very full of energy and wanting to play all the time, Brodie is a really snuggle dog. At night he likes to cuddle up and get lots of attention. He loves riding in the car and watching where we're going next. Also, he's learning agility now and some day he might get to enter a real competition.
