Arrival Story:
I knew I wanted a beagle because I had one when I was growing up (until my mother ran over him) and they are the best. I contacted Northern Calif. Beagle Rescue and they put me on to a beagle from South Bay Purebred Rescue. I named her Lerette in memory of my first beagle, Leroy.
Bio:
Lerette recently attended the annual PAWS (Pets Are Wonderful Support) benefit in San Francisco, where the main photo was taken. She also makes the scene at the Northern California BeagleFest, a semi-annual gathering of beagles and their owners at a Sausalito dog park. Here is a slideshow I compiled to commemorate the event. (Bonus: Lerette at home, with cats.)
