Arrival Story:
Jackson found me. He needed a home, and I needed him. He was diabetic, and subsequently had cataracts in his eyes. His multitude of fans helped me pay for the sugery to remove the cataracts and implant new lenses. He had his sight back for over 5 precious years. Jackson lived in three homes with me while we were together. He was lucky enough to accompany me to work at the animal hospital every day, where he had so many friends, both two legged and four. He loved his posse at the animal hospital in the city. He went with me each weekend to sneak into my fiance's apartment where he wasn't allowed. He enjoyed walks up Telegraph Hill to Coit Tower. We had lots of adventures, vacations in Mendocino, and he carried our rings at our wedding. He went with us on our Russian River honeymoon. We lost our boy on May 5, 2007. After so many years of diabetes and chronic bronchitis, bouts of pancreatitis and pneumonia, his little body had finally had enough. I have been crying ever since.

Bio:
I don't know Jackson's true birthday, so I say it is in April, the month his eyes were fixed.
