Whew! Where did all the time go?

Wow, the last 9 months have been a blast! Can I just say this whole "dog's life" thing rocks!?!

For starters, I have a new sister cousin - Daisy! She's my sister, 'cause we have the same sire, and she's a double cousin -first cause her dog-mom is my dog-mom's great niece, and also 'cause her human-mom is my human-mom's sister! I'm sad that she lives in Indiana, but I really love to play with her when she comes to visit.

And just this month I found out about the coolest thing ever -sprinklers!!! They're awesome. At first they make a sound so you can find them while they're still underground, then they pop up and if you time it just right you can get a face-full of water! Wow do I love getting wet. I don't know why mom wastes time bathing me - she should just cover me in shampoo and set me loose in the sprinklers.

I do like being pretty, though. Being brushed and groomed is so relaxing, and I have to stay on top of my game - its not easy being this beautiful.

Well, gotta run - I have siblings to torment.

There going to do What?!?!

Well, this morning was just like any other of the last week. My sisters and I (and Mom, too of course) are house-sitting and taking care of my 14 year old cocker-auntie. Things took a strange turn at breakfast when I didn't get any. I mean, really, a girls gotta eat you know? And I didn't even get to have a drink. Then Mom put my leash on which was great and at first I thought I was going for a walk, but turned out I got to go to the vets office.

I hear some dogs don't like to go to the vet, but not me - I love it there! The people all adore me and shower me with hugs and kissies.

I have to have some of my baby teeth pulled since my grown-up teeth didn't come in directly above them. Its called interventive orthodontics and I had it done once before - they stuck a needle in my leg and it hurt! And when I woke up I was cranky and wouldn't even look at my favorite vet tech.

Anyway, back to this morning. I was busy cuddling with the vet when I overheard him talking to my mom about having me spayed. Now wait a minute - I thought this was a dental visit?!?!? At least I get to spend the night at the vets office with my friends!
