Arrival Story:
Lu was a lost soul in the Carolinas, who moved in under a friend's canoe while he was out of country for a few weeks. They couldn't find her owner, and noone else could take her. He lives near a dump and she seemed to be abandoned. She'd had puppies, but there was no sign of them. He knew we wanted a dog, and brought her the long ride up. She came with heartworm, intestinal worms, you name a worm, but survived the treatment and is the sweetest thing anyone's ever met.
