Sun Sign: Quick Bio:
 Birthday: December 19th 2001
Likes: Auntie Fran, his friends, bully sticks, snow, food of any kind, cramming as many pieces of rawhide in his mouth at once as is possible.

Pet-Peeves: Wanting something another dog is chewing on and not being able to have it

Favorite Toy: A blue argyle pillow from Target, he greets everyone with it; anything else he can fit in his mouth, but Spongebob is a favorite.

Favorite Food: He's a Labrador, need I say more....but he does love peanut butter, cream cheese, and now with his "diet" he has learned to love raw carrots

Favorite Walk: Delaney Watershed in Stow, Fresh Pond in Cambridge

Best Tricks: Coal can shake, other than that, he's just a very good boy with good recall and social skills

Arrival Story: Coalie came from a phenomenal breeder in Dover-Foxcroft Maine. I knew I wanted a male black Lab because I was so fond of my neighbor's dog Blaser. Coal was worth the 5 hour drive each way and the sleepover at "Lovely's" motel which was very Norman Bates!

Bio: Coal has a sister, an 8 year old Maine Coon cat named Mia. They sleep together, share the same water bowl, and Mia greets Coal at the door whenever he comes home by rubbing herself up against him. She even comes over to him when he sleeps and "bunny kicks" on his head. Coal just stays laying down. Kind of an amazing relationship.

Forums Motto: Coal aka I'm kind of a mama's boy

Best Coal story ever! Talked to Fran Monday just to catch up, she takes care of Coal during the week with her Lab Blaser. One day last week Coal went over to her house early and hung out for a bit before they were heading out for the big walk at Fresh Pond. Since the dogs are good, they are often dragging their leashes or in a stand-stay in the hall while the humans put shoes on etc. Well, Mr. Coal decided to just walk across the hall to his own front door and stand there waiting to be let in with the look of "i'm ready to go home and go back to bed" look on his face. I guess my lazy Lab decided going across the hall visiting was good enough for him for the day. He of course went on his walk!
