Finally Home!

Sorry it's been so long since I've written..I've been getting settled back home again. It's so good to be with Gizmo and Cookie and my family and I can't imagine ever leaving them again! We are all doing well and are looking forward to starting our new lives together!

Hi everyone,
Some of you already know this, but because of Mom's current situation, Gizmo and I are living in Canada with Mom's parents. Mom will join us on September 3rd and we will not be returning to Korea. Sorry we haven't kept in touch with everyone, but it's been a hard time for all of us. Gizmo and I are doing well, and Mom's slowly recovering from the shock of the unexpected life changes, but we'll be back on track again in September. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

I'm So Happy!

Wow! I'm a featured pug! I'm so excited! We just celebrated with some yummy ice cream! It's my first time winning anything! My shih tzu brother, Gizmo, is so jealous! But Mommy gave him ice cream, too! I can't understand why he's jealous! Oh well...I WIN I WIN I WIN!!!

My Weekend!

On Saturday night, Gizmo and I were so brave! We caught an intruder in our apartment and woke up Mom and Dad! But Mom and Dad just laughed at us!! Why?
Because the intruder was Santa Claus!
On Saturday, they went shopping and Mom bought a big cutout of Santa and taped it on the balcony door. We didn't notice it in the day, but at night, we could see the light shining behind him and he's the same size as a man, so we thought he was gonna hurt Mom and Dad.
Anyway, Mom took down Santa.
On Sunday we went to a dog show. We weren't contestants because we don't know any tricks, but we just watched. Then Mom had the "bright" idea of getting us microchipped. And I was first. The woman took out the big needle and I went crazy! I hate needles. Anyway, the woman stuck the needle in me, but the chip wasn't in properly so we had to do it again. At this point, Mom changed her mind about getting me microchipped but Dad said we should do it. Mom got so stressed she had to sit down or she was gonna pass out. Well, I was successfully chipped and they scanned my neck and everything is working properly.
Gizmo and I also got certified with the "KKC"...that's the Korean Kennel Club!
Anyway, it was quite a busy weekend!!

Yay! Snow!

On Sunday, Mom and Dad took Gizmo and me to play in the snow for the very first time! I was so amazed! First I tried to eat it...it was all over my face. Then I sat down in it and my bum got too cold! I cried and I wouldn't move so Dad had to carry me all the way home! I tried to be brave, but I was so cold! I hope we don't have to go outside again until Spring!

Did you see all my pals and bones? I'm getting to be so popular! I learned how to jump on my mommy's bed all by myself now! Gizmo and I are taking over!!

I'm Back!

Hey everyone,
I went to the vet and I'm perfectly healthy! I'm only 8 pounds, and I'm not expected to grow any more, but that makes mom a little happy because we only live in a small studio apartment , and there's me and Gizmo, and my 2 guinea pig brothers, and mom and dad....it's a little crowded at times! Hope you are all doing well!!

Yay!

I went to the vet today and my mom was so proud of me. When she first brought me home, I weighed 1 kilogram but when I got sick, I was just 800 grams! But, when I stepped on the scale today, I was 1.7 kilograms!!! My mom and dad and the vet couldn't believe it! I am making such good progress! However, the vet said that my mom should keep an eye on me...there seems to be some problems in my "man parts" so maybe I will need some surgery soon for that, and my umbilical hernia. Mom hopes I'm ok because she loves me a lot (and already my vet bills have been more expensive that it was to buy me in the first place!!)
After the vet, we went to the big department store and Gizmo and I got so much attention, but especially me, because pugs are really rare in South Korea. My mom can't wait to bring us home to Canada to show her parents. Sometimes she's lonely here, so we try our best to keep her company and show her lots of love!

I'm Growing!

My parents are so worried because I won't stop eating!! When they first adopted me, I weighed 1 kilogram, but then I got really sick and I dropped down to 800 grams. However, now they are sure I've doubled in size! Today I finished all my food and all Gizmo's food, too! Normally, Mom doesn't let me do that, but today she let me out of my crate and she wasn't looking, so...I took Gizmo's food. Gizmo doesn't mind. He likes sharing. But now my mom is convinced that she bought a pig, not a pug!
