Arrival Story:
We were searching on puppyfind.com for a puppy we would love, when my boyfriend mentioned that he has always liked border collies, so we looked them up. As we searched through all the adorable puppies a few stood out to us, and lo and behold a lot of them turned out to be siblings. We then enter the breeders website Stahlsbordercollies.worldlife.net, we fell head over heals for the cutest puppy there. His name through them was Marty and besides being adorable he obviously had the biggest and sweetest personality. We immediatly contacted the breeder. When we went to pick him up from LaGaurdia airport we were first told to wait a half an hour for the plane to unload. When that time had passed and one of the clerks finally paid attention to us it turned out that his plane hadn't even landed yet. That because of the bad weather the plane had to stop off at JFK (which we live only twenty minutes away from) to re-fuel then it would come back here. We were so worried for the puppy. Finally someone who didn't even work in this area of the airport told us to comback at about 12:30 (a little more than an hour later), and that the puppy would be here then. We were so upset, the whole reason he was sent to LaGuardia was becuase it would have been a direct flight. Then as we waited at 12:00 the breeder called my cell phone telling me that airport had told her the puppy was unloaded at JFK. We were POed, but there was no time to yell at the incompetent staff, we rushed to JFK. We got there in a record breaking ten minutes. Rushing into the irport baggage claim area I could here poor Jinx howling from his kennel. There he was on the floor off to the side. We immediatly opened the cage and I scooped him out. He held on and was obviously so greatful to be out of that cage. The people at JFK were very kind to him and were very sorry for the ordeal, He was so sweet and beautiful and finaly he was ours.
