Mommy brought home a new kitten this week. He's pretty small, like MaoMao used to be. He actually likes to nap with me! BONUS!!! There are pictures here that prove it. It's a dream come true... what more could a dog ask for?

A New Friend, and a New Distance Record!

Yesterday I went for a walk on the boardwalk. I was walking along and passed a group of little dogs (thought they were cats at first). One of them started growling at me, so his mom took off walking ahead of us. Mom & I kept walking, and the little dog kept looking back at me. After a while, we caught up with him, and after a little bit of growling on his part, he started walking right next to me. We walked together the entire length of the beach and back (3.4 miles round trip). I was exhausted, but I wouldn't let my new friend find out. Our moms got along well too. His mom gave me a bowl of water when we got back to the cars. It was fun to meet a new dog friend!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.......

So my mom got me a coat. It's COLD outside, and I always go out and shiver. She bought me a fleece, and I LOVE it! I don't like for her to take it off me! In fact, whenever she leaves it on when I'm in the house, I immediately roll on my side and fall fast asleep. Who knew how fabulous a winter coat could really be?

ITCHY

Okay, so I finally got my stitches out, so I don't have to wear that collar thing anymore. But then guess what happened? I got all itchy, and Mama said it was fleas. I do NOT like fleas. That is all.

Feeling better!

I am feeling so much better, and just want to run, run, run! But Mama says I can't run right now. I don't understand it. As much as I don't like the big cone collar, it IS fun to scare Fatboy with it...

Tonight the kitty came to visit. I LOVE the kitty! I even gave her a BIG KISS after Mama took off the funny collar.

I miss playing soccer. Mama won't let me. I keep sniffing my soccer balls, but she says no. POOR me. Mama says it's VERY hard to keep a pit bull from running and having fun, but she doesn't have a choice. I guess it's okay if Mama says that's the way it has to be.

OUCH

I cut my leg and have to take a break from soccer. The doctor put in some stitches and gave me a green cast to cover it up. Mama is making me wear this horrible collar thing, even though I've PROMISED not to chew on my boo boo. The only cool part is that Fatboy is afraid of the collar thing! Once I get my energy back, I'm going to enjoy scaring him.

So I was out in the back yard playing soccer and got sick of it. I had gotten in my workout, and I was tired. I decided to lie down, my brother Fatty was doing the same thing, and Mama was reading the paper. I realized I had a cut on my leg, so I started licking it. Mama saw me, picked up my paw and freaked out a bit. Next thing I know, she's got me in the car (LOOOOOVE RIDES!!!) and is talking to the vet on the phone. We head into the doctor's office, sit there for a while, and before I know it, they are taking me in the back room. After that, I remember stumbling out to the car, Mama carrying me into the house, some annoying clear thing around my head, and being unable to sleep well
