OMD!!! Blackie & the Mean Min Pins!!!
It was rumored today that the famous rock band "Blackie & the Min Pins" may just be heading the way of the Beatles' and their often controversial breakup.
We were unable to reach any of the members for comment before this went to press, but indications are that there may be a Yoko Ono figure influencing one of the members of the group.
We also have credible photo evidence that the lead singer, Miss Cashew, is less than pleased with Little Man's performance and has taken him to task publicly on this issue.
Late-breaking word was that the rift was hastened by Little Man's announcement that he plans to perform solo this coming New Year's Eve in New York's Times Square while waiting for the Ball to drop ...

I won ... I really won ...

I am proud to say I won the Hometown Page Contest held in The Dog Park USA group. Yes, it was a whole page contest, about my home town, obviously. BOL I was picked by the judges as first place!! I am so excited. I have been doing zoomies all day!!! I also got a star on my page and a 40 zealies package. Mom and I worked on my page for hours and hours with tons of frustration. Let me tell you..... mom did not know how to edit pictures prior to this and I wonder, Does she even know how now?? The answer ... Not really!!! BOL Thank you to Mr Duffy McDuff for doing my first two edited pics. But we didnt want to be bothering him or anyone else for all of my pics I needed. So mom took it upon herself to try this paint shop again. And after many many tries ... she got one. Then one turned into two... then three and then she was tired. When we came back to do more, she didnt know what she was doing ... again. After several attempts and several hours, we finally got some pictures edited. I was finally proud of her work!! I was proud of my page!! I am sure I will leave it this way for awhile ... I would hate to change it after all the hard work put into it.
But anyhow, I am honored ... very honored to be chosen!!

Loved Tagged

Here it is- the newest craze going around Dogster! It's called "You are loved!" Here's how it goes: Pick 3 dogsters who you think are just fantastic and tell a little about why you feel that they are so pawsome! Be sure to tell them how much they are loved with a p-mail or a rosette! Isn't it hard to pick only 3?

I was tagged by my pal, Oscar AND by his girlfriend, Oreo!! Oscar is a min pin that Cashew and I have real live playdates with. He is one cool dude!!! Oreo is a Chi/Min Pin mix that is so pretty and friendly. Her and I play with cheese cubes at all the MPMM pawties. BOL She is my pawty buddy!!

Choosing just three pals was very hard! I'd love to write about all my pals, each of whom is so special! But the rules say three only. :(

Okay ... so this is a work in progress .... I trying really hard to pick just 3.
Okay ... I figured it out ......

1. Prissy - Of course, I chose her because she is my loveable, beautiful girl that just means the absolute world to me!!! Because she does silly things that make me laugh and because she likes me even though I am a short legged long haired Basset ... I ♥ you, Prissy!!!

2. Starr - I chose Starr because she is a great lil gal pal, because she is full of spunk and is very smart (she has been practicing agility like a pro), and because is a tough lil cookie being so small and living with such bigger doggies, Faith and Denali.

3. Buddy - I chose Buddy because he is one cool dude and pal, because we both like to chew up ink pens (BOL), because he tells funny stories and because ... just like at those ears .... How could you not like a guy with those ears?

I wish I could list all of my bestest pup pals, but I can only choose 3 :(

Delaware Ohio .... Why I like living here ......

First let me tell you some facts about Delaware, Ohio.

Delaware is situated in the center of the state of Ohio, about 20 miles north of Columbus. Delaware was founded in 1808, incorporated in 1816. Rutherford B. Hayes, the 19th US President, was from Delaware. The city high school was named after President Hayes, Delaware Hayes High School. Delaware County is a fast-growing county. According to the U.S. Census Bureau's 2004 population estimates, Delaware County's population of 142,503 made it the fastest growing county in Ohio, and the 11th fastest growing in the U.S. from 2000 to 2004. The Census Bureau estimates its 2005 population to be 150,268.

Here are some silly laws for Ohio... not necessarily Delaware but I thought they were cute and had to share BOL

In Marysville, Ohio it is illegal for a dog to urinate on a parking meter. (There are no parking meters in Marysville.) (BTW, Marysville is just about 20 minutes west of Delaware and it's where mommy works)

It is illegal to fish for whales on Sundays. (whales in Ohio? BOL)

It is legal to throw a snake at someone but it is illegal to shake a snake at someone. (I don't want to hold a snake or ever see one so I am okay with this one BOL)

It's against the law to kill a housefly within 160 feet of a church without a licence. (Does catching them with your mouth and eating them count??)

It is illegal to get a fish drunk. (No beer for the fish here BOL)

Bay Village - It is illegal to walk a cow down Lake Road. (MOOOOOOO!!!!)

Cleveland - It's illegal to catch mice without a hunting license. (Hope we don't move to Cleveland cause Hermie the cat might have to go to jail BOL)

Lowell - It is unlawful to run a horse over five miles per hour. (WHOAAAAA ... slow down horsey!)

McDonald - Your goose may not paraded down Main Street. (Can we parade them down another street, ya think?)

Paulding - A policeman may bite a dog to quiet him. However, the reverse is not true, even if it's a police dog. ( I will bite him if I want to so... HA BOL)

Okay here is why I like living here in Delaware

1. Cause Mom and Dad and Cashew and Hermie live here!
2. Cause I get to go to Scioto Township Park to run and play with my family and my pals, Oscar and Carson.
3. Cause I can hang out back of my apartment and run and play or just be lazy.
4. Cause it snows here!! I like snow! Check out my picture of me sledding down the hill in the apartment complex. Arrrrroooooo!!!!
5. Cause it's pretty close to my Grammie's and my 'real' basset family so it's not too hard to travel to go visit.
6. Cause it's not too far from Petsmart and Petco ... both are in Dublin about 20-30 minutes away.
7. Cause if I don't like the weather, I can just wait 10 minutes and it will change BOL old Ohio weather joke but I think it fits all of central USA BOL
8. Cause I have my pal, Buddy, who visits on weekends next door and we get to play and run till we both drop. And sometimes, just sometimes, I get to play with Zeus who is another neighbor dog.
9. Cause we get Time Warner high speed Cable Internet and it makes it much easier and faster to keep up with all my dogster pals. =)
10. Did I mention ... Cause my Mom and Dad and Cashew and Hermie live here?!?! YAY !! That's the main reason I like living in Delaware! I love my family!!!!!!

OMD I forgot to mention the Ohio State Buckeyes!! They are a big part of Ohio... any part of Ohio!!! GO BUCKS!!!!!

My 2nd Woofday!!

Yesterday was my 2nd Woofday!! Boy am I a lucky dog!! I have received soo many gifties from my pals and supposedly, I have more coming. MORE?? WHOA!! So here is how my day went. First, off mommy went to work for the day and I was stuck here with Daddy ... as usual. But when Mommy got home the fun began. YAY!!! She gave me lots and lots of hugs and kisses ... those were the best! Then she helped me open all my gifties I got in the mail from my wonderful pals. Oh did I mention, I am getting MORE??? BOL Arrrroooo
So we opened and opened and opened gifties. It seemed to have gone on furever. Mom let me play alittle with each toy and have a piece of each treat that came. And yes, I shared with Cashew. Actually, she kept stealing my cool stuff. Matter of fact, I caught the cat playing with one of my toys too. What's up with that??? Anyhow, back to me........ Mom then cut me a piece of my woofday cake and ice cream. OMD that was delicious!!! Thank you Tinker Belle for the recipe! I still have some left .... anypup want a piece? BOL After cake and ice cream and the mess we made with it, I got to play with some of my new toys. Mom and I played tug with one of the tug toys. I chewed on another toy while Cashew and mom played with the tug toy. Cashew played with a football that squeaked and refused to let me have it. How unfair is that?!?!?! Then we went to bed. I was plume-tuckered too. So many activities in such a short time. Oh I forgot to mention, I saw my neighbor pal, Buddy and we romped around just a tiny bit. It began to rain.
Today, I got on dogster ... finally. I have tons of woofday wishes and rosettes from my pals. And I just found out I get to play with Oscar today. HOORAY!
THIS HAS BEEN THE BEST WOOFDAY YET!!! THANK YOU TO ALL MY PUP PALS!!! YOU ALL ROCK!!!

Dear Diary

Dear Diary
I met this nice beautiful pup girl!!! She is just the most purtiest thing I have ever seen!!! And so freindly its unbelievable!! I have been trying to get the nerve to ask her to be my girl but I am really shy. I sent her some flowers and dedicated a song to her. I think she likes me .... and the other pups say that she does. I am not sure where to go from here .... I am nervous. She is a min pin like my sis. I met her in MPMM .... what a pawsome group!!! Jackson has been helping my tune up my game .... Boy did I need his help. I think I will ask her with in the next week .... I gotta come up with something romantic by then. Wish me luck!!!!
p.s. Her name is Prissy!!!! *sigh*
