Today mom and dad got up early for a Sunday morning. I am so used to sleeping in anymore, even when it isn't the weekend. I was kind of nervous when mom told me I had to eat my breakfast because we would be going somewhere. Once we got outside and I saw what a beautiful day it was I felt better. On our way, to wherever we were going I spotted a Whippet in the car next to us. I had never seen a Whippet before, but my instincts told me that that was a Whippet. My mom ended up following that car, since she had no clue how to get to where we were going.
Once the car was stopped, I saw a bunch of dogs, most of them Whippets. My family and I headed towards a group of dogs and their people. Then I met the biggest dog I had ever seen in my life. His name was Chevy and he was a very pretty Borzoi. I was just about the size of his head and he let me play all over him. When I finally settled down, all of the other dogs started going crazy. We heard the whirring of a motor and then the flapping of plastic sacks. Everyone was talking about a bunny. I had never heard of a bunny before, but after 2 puppy practices and watching all of the big dogs chase this bunny, I pretty much knew what a bunny was! I slept the rest of the day when I got home.
