Hi all-
This is Sarah, Belle's owner. Unfortunately, Belle has been going downhill for the past few weeks. She wasn't holding food down and lost an astonishing amount of weight. I am sad to say that on Monday, September 18th we made the tough, but fair decision to end her suffering. She has been an amazing pet for 14 years and we will miss her greatly. Thanks for reading Belle's rants, but now she has officially signed off to the Rainbow Bridge.

Hi all-
Just wishing you a happy Thanksgiving! I got a little bit of turkey, but not enough, in my eyes anyway! Hope you and yours enjoyed good food and good company!

You will have to excuse the delay in getting my new photos up. You can't trust a human to do a dog's job! I hope you enjoy the pictures. I am at my favorite place-my run. I have a long leash that my human's tie me on that is attached to another leash that is in the air between the fence and my tree. I love to stay out there all day, when my humans are home. I lay in the sun and, sometimes, chase animals, as far as my leash lets me. I love being out there, even though I would prefer to be off leash. For some reason my humans don't like it when I come back from the horse farm down the street. I think it has something to do with all that good stuff the horses leave in the pasture that I roll in. Ah well...until next time!

Introduction

Well hello all-
I am Belle, a beagle, samoyed mix from New York state. My owner is Sarah and her family and I have been with them for almost my whole life. They do take care of me, feed me (although it is never enough), and they even gave me my own run outside where I like to bask in the sun and sleep the days away. Hey, I am 14 and that is what we old ladies do! I also have an ever changing sibling in my house. Sarah raises guide dog puppies, so every year or so, the old one leaves for training, and they bring this awful terrible thing in-a puppy! I don't like these pups at all. They try to play with me and jump on me. For those of you who know me, I don't DO play! Most of the time I get these dogs trained, but then they leave me. After all of that training on my part, Sarah ships them away to training. I never did understand humans. Ah well, check out the newest bouncing baby's page. His name is Diego and my work with him just never seems to get through. Ah well, time to go back to training. Oh Diego...
