 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: August 1st 2002
Likes: Beating up on her sister, Sadie Mae. She also likes sqeaking plush toys.......sneaking up on the guest bed when Mamma's not looking and chasing squirrels. And of course, walks is always a favorite!

Pet-Peeves: She doesn't like being rushed at or made to feel crowded by her German Shepherd cousin, Cassie.

Favorite Toy: She has a pink teddy that plays "rock a bye baby" when she bites it. And pretty much anything she can take away from her little sister, Sadie

Favorite Food: ARE YOU KIDDING???? She eats whatever you put in front of her! And ALL of it! She gets mostly Iams kibbles and Mamma mixes in cooked chicken, rice, gr beef, shredded cheese.....all good stuff.

Favorite Walk: Around the neighborhood........but she's not fussy........anywhere she and Sadie want to go!

Best Tricks: She likes to hide her cookies around the house and put stuffed animals on top of them. She also likes to stuff them under the pillows on the beds!

Arrival Story: When my first Peke, Sadie became almost two I decided she needed a sister and playmate. We started searching the websites for a dog that would be compatible with her. We found this wonderful strawberry blonde little girl that was very close to Sadie's age and her temperment sounded like she would be JUST RIGHT!!!! After a very careful application process on behave of the Pekingese Charitable Foundation and her wonderful foster mother....(they take great care in the placement of their wonderful little charges, after all) we drove to Ft Worth, TX one weekend from Jackson, MS to make her a part of our loving family!!! She's been with us for 5 months now and these two are the closest little sisters you could imagine!!!!

Forums Motto: Critter Git'ter (loves bugs and lizards)

Phew!!!!! That was a close one!!! How I ever came to find myself in a kill shelter I can't even tell you!!! Nor do I want to think about it! But I met a real nice lady there (in fact, she's where I got my name......GINGER!). Anyway, she knew I was a purebred Pekingese and certainly too young and beautiful to end up like that!!!! Fortunately for me she called a friend of hers that works with the Pekingese Charitable Foundation, a rescue group for Pekes like me!!! This lady's name is Linda and because of her dedication to Peke rescue I got to go live with her and her other fosters while she searched for a forever home for me!!!! She was my saving grace and my very own personal guardian angel!!!!
I was very happy with Linda and the other Pekes, and Linda's family were so good to me and loved me like I was their own. But I'm not the only Peke Linda was looking for a home for. She had my picture and story out on websites until....sure enough!!!! One day someone drove all the way from Jackson, MS to Ft Worth, TX because she said she fell in love with me the first time she saw my picture!!!!!!
Now, not only do I have a forever home with someone who loves me SO MUCH!!!!! But I have a pesky little Pekingese sister to play with all day long!!!!
Things were a little bumpy between me and Sadie Mae at first, but now we love each other like litter sisters!!!!! I have more stories about me and Sade's.
Mamma will update Dogster every now and then, including pictures........(my Mamma is a camera bug and Sadie and I are her FAVORITE subjects!!!)
So....that's my story for now. Don'tcha just LOVE happy endings?????
