Growing like a Weed!

As you can see by the title, my mom and dad think I'm growing up fast!! I don't feel any bigger though! I've gotten over my cold finally which mom said lasted WAY too long, and I've regained my large appetite. I LOVE to eat!After all, I AM a growing pup. I'm getting a little better at night in my crate, and even though I don't like it, I am letting my parents sleep through the night now. :) Other than that, I get to go on lots of trips to the park lately because I have so much fun there and get lots of energy out! Oh, and something quite strange is going on with my little ears-- they used to fall down on the side- and now they are perked atop my head! Mom says I must be growing into my face a bit. I kind of look silly this way , don't I? Mom and Dad say I'm still so very cute and I think they posted a photo of this phenomenon for everyone to see.

My First week !

I had a very interesting first week in my new home! Although I've been sick with what the vet calls kennel cough (that I probably had caught at the shelter), I'm now on antibiotics and hopefully getting better soon!

I've had lots of opportunity to explore my new home this week, play, run outside, and go to Petsmart for new toys! I saw another doggie there and we became friends- we kissed and played with each other right there in the store!
Mom and Dad are keeping me in the crate at night, because I have accidents otherwise. I don't like the crate, and I cried all night the first two times, but I'm adjusting and realizing it isn't so bad afterall!~

I'm not so sure what to make of my "sister" (Cat) Elly yet. I want to be friends with her, and I go up to her and wag my tail as hard as I can..but she just hisses and backs away. I hope she warms up to me soon!

Mom and Dad say that when I get to be a few more weeks old, they will take me to the dog park, where I can meet other doggie friends , can't wait for that!

Well, that is all for now, I wanna go find something I can chew and destroy, like mom's tennis shoe!! ;) Catch ya later!
