Arrival Story:
We had just lost our first Boston named Lucky. Lucky went to heaven. A month to the day that Lucky died, we got a call from our local rescue organization and they told us that they just got in a stray and he was a Boston Terrier. We told them 'YES' and went to see Bob the next day. There was no question about whether we were gonna adopt him or not. We were mourning our Lucky and we knew we needed this new little guy.

Bio:
Bob ... is what the rescue people called him. He was found wandering the streets of the neighboring city. No one was looking for him. So, when we took him home we decided to keep his name as Bob, he looked like a Bob. He was so sweet and wanted to play. We learned that whenever he wanted something really bad, he started a whine that came from his gut. So cute to hear him want something so bad. He loved going for car rides. When he heard keys and or saw us get our purses he would jump back and forth, bark like crazy and run back and forth from us to the door to us again. He was saying, 'LETS GO ALREADY'. So, there were times that we would just take him for a ride around the block. We still do this. We had a six month old Bichon puppy named Seamus. So when Seamus and Bob met, they became best buds and played and played and played all day long together.

Forums Motto:
Did I hear someone say 'Ride'?

Hi everyone, my name is Bob ... Da Boston!!! I think that I'm cool. What do you think? All my friends at Petsmart think so. I get treats galore whenever my mom takes me there. I come thru the door and all my friends yell, 'BOB'. I sure love my friends.

Last year ... I was living in a different city. I'm not even sure where I was. But I just thought I was taking myself for a walk. It was fun! I could go anywhere I wanted to. I could run or walk or lay down anywhere outside. Then night came and I then realized I didn't have a bed to sleep in. I didn't have my dinner or my water bowl and what if I got cold? I don't know how long I was on this unique adventure. I did notice that my skin started to sag.

Then one day ... a really nice person came up to me and picked me up and put me in a truck. The next thing I knew ... I was in a kennel in a building and some really nice person gave me food that I recognize and really good water. I was so hungry and thirsty. It sure felt good to eat normal food again and drinking fresh water. Then these really nice people sent me to another building. And from there a very nice lady picked me up and took me to her home. She gave me a bath and hugs and kisses and more food and water. Then the best thing of all ... a bed to sleep on!!!! The nice lady had other dogs for me to play with. I had such a great nite at this ladies house. The next morning she took me to work with her. I thought she was gonna be my new owner but I was wrong.

This nice family came to her office and she called me to come over. This lady named me BOB so I answered to it. This family seemed nice and they were all smiling. They seemed to like me right away. And they were petting me and telling me how handsome I was. I really liked them!! They put a leash on me and took me to their car to take me to my new home. I then noticed I had a little white fluffy brother and his name was Seamus.

We got to my new home. My family let me walk thru the whole house and chose where I wanted to sleep. I chose to let my new grandma sleep with me in my new giant bed. I was pretty sure she would stay on her side of the bed.

I had a new greatgrandma and a new mommy and a new auntie. My new family loved me. They hugged me and kissed me and played with me. Oh ... I had so much fun!!! My mommy took me to my new Vet Doctor and he said that I was really healthy and he told me how lucky I was to be with my new family.

My mommy took me to Petsmart and got me all the toys that I wanted. And then my mommy started feeding me Innova Evo. My little brother Seamus was eating that. And when my greatgrandma would eat, I tried to beg from her and see if she would give me some of her food. And she would!!!! Boy ... I had everything that I wanted. I was so happy!!!!

Well ... one day my mommy noticed that my tail (which happens to be a inny and not a normal Boston Tail) had disappeared. Then, I started sitting straight up on my butt and reaching my head over my left shoulder. It looked like I was trying to eat an invisible bug in the air over my left shoulder. Mommy took me to my doctor and he said I had to lose weight because me tail was gone and was infected. Now I'm on a diet. I don't as many treats as I use to and my mommy and auntie watch greatgrandma like a hawk so she doesn't give me her food anymore. I have lost five pounds now. But I'm still not allowed many treats. And you can almost see my tail.

I play all the time. I get to go for car rides and we go to Petsmart all the time, just to say 'hi' to my friends mostly. I love my squeaky balls and I love to play tug of war with my brother Seamus. I try to play with my sister Shawnee but she won't let me. But I keep trying. I love to go for walks and my mommy takes me all the time. I get to go to the dog park. But I don't like it as much as my brother and sister do. I love my whole family!!! And I know that they love me too!!!
