mommy is mad!

let's just start this diary entry off to make sure that all of you pups out there understand that i did not do the naughty this time.

last night me and the rest of my pack helped mommy make 2 apple pie. one of them went in the freezer and the other stayed on the shelf.

well mommy went to the shelter very early this morning. while she was gone george decided he was hungry for some pie. i bet you all can guess what happend next. yup, george took the pie off of the shelf and ate the whole thing. he cleaned up the pie plate but good.

it's funny now, but about 6 hours ago!!!!

oopsie, i did a naughty.

mommy took me and bailey for our walk this morning just like every day. as we were going into the driveway i saw another skunky. well i saw the skunky before mommy did and i chased him under the front porch to our house. guess what the skunky did? yep, he sprayed! he got me in the mouth and i got barfy in the driveway. that wasn't the worst of it. the skunky had a family under the porch and they all sprayed too! they sprayed in my house. oopsie.

mommy has to take the day off to be with me and oh yeah to wait for the house cleaner and the insurance people to come. something tells me i am not going to get mush snuggie time with mommy tomorrow

me and my brother were attacked on our walk.

mommy was walking me and my brother george tonight like we do everynight when out of the blue this dog come charging full force at us. there was no time to think. mommy braced herself and held us as close to her as possible and kept telling us no, no, no. the dog bit my brother in the face. it isn't as bad as rusty, but he was bleeding.. she actually didn't notice it until a little while later when she was wiping the slobber off of his face.

mommy was so proud of my brother. i was a chicken and hid behind mommy but george got right in front of us. and instead of fighting back he just stood tall. mommy thought for sure george was gonna kick his ass. she is very glad he didn't.

mommy didn't get a chance to see if the other dog was up to date on his shots. she was all shaky and just wanted to finish our walk. this doggie was also on a flexileash and being walked around the yard by a little boy. she will check on his shots tomorrow.

i is the luckiest pup!

hello pup pals! what a fun fun day i had. first i got to go to our cnyspca dog walk and festival. i went on a very long walk with many of my doggies pals. after that mommy and i walked around the festival. i got to taste a bunch of home made treats an food. mommy took my picture with mcgruff the crime dog, and the sun from sunny 102 and a fireman. then mommy took me to have a snack. i got a hotdog. a real one. after my hot dog i told mommy i was getting tired so we went home to take a nap until daddy came home from work.

daddy said he had a surprise for me and my brother george. him am=nd mommy walked us into town for another hot dog andfrench fries at theis really cool place called heid's hot dogs. it was yummy. a bunch of people petted us too. i like it when daddy does stuff with us.

okay it is time for me to go to bed. i is very sleepy.

i played with some pup pals yesterday.

yesterday my pup pals mocha bear and monte came to visit me. we went for a big long walk and then to my dog park. after that the humans ate some lunch. we had so much fun. we even got to swimming in the lake. i love it when my pup pals cometo visit me.

please don't let your best friend go to the rainbow bridge- all by themselves

i haven't been able to get this off of my mind since saturday. i brought bubbles sister daisey mae to the vet for a checkup on saturday. as we were sitting in the waiting room waiting our turn, i watched a man and a woman hand over their very old golden retriever to a vet tech. they both kissed the dog goodbye and the woman left the building. the man started to but he forgot the dogs leash. he took the leash and patted the dog on the head. the whole time the dog was wagging it's tail. i heard the vet tech. say she was sorry. i am going to assume the couple had decided that it was time for their friend to cross the rainbow bridge. that is fine. those decisions have to be made every day. what bothers me is why on earth would they let their dearly beloved friend go all by herself? i know all too well how difficult it is to make the decision in the first place let alone be there to watch it. come on though, your dog stayed with you through thick and thin, not judging and always loving and patient. everyday they are there for you. why not, in their very much time of need, be there for them? i just didn't understand. i found myself sitting in the waiting room with tears welling up in my eyes. i still can't stop thinking about this dog. although, if i know the people at my vets, i am positive the dog didn't pass on her own. someone stayed with her and told her it would be alright.

so i CAN'T play with the skunk?

you know, now that i am a big boy i thought i was done learning lessons. apparently not. this morning, as with every morning, mommy put me outside to go potty while she got herself ready to take me for a walk. as i was wandering through my yard i saw this cute little furry black and white thing in my yard. he was cute and it looked like he wanted to play. i walked over to him and started to woof. mommy didnt' come put, so i thought it was ok to play with him. so i started to chase my little friend. all of a sudden the little furry guy squirted me in the face with something very stinky. at first he hurt my feelings but i just shook it off and started to woof at him and chase him and sure enough he kept squirting me. suddenly i heard my mommy hollering for me to get away from the SKUNK. i heard about them skunk things but i didn't know that this cute little thing in my yard was a SKUNK! mommy sprayed me with the hose. so now my feelings have been hurt 2 times in less than an hour. mommy went inside for about 10 minutes and when she came back outside I HAD TO GET A BATH! I HATE A BATH! well mommy scrubbed me up good with some magic potion and then used a shampoo. dont' tell mommy, but i did feel much better afterwards. mommy said she wasn't mad at me and was very glad the magic potion worked to get the stinky skunkies out of me 'cause i was supposed to go to the baseball game tonight.

i had forgotten all about that 'cause mommy told me so long ago. i could hardley wait for mommy to get home from work so she could take me. she packed my back pack full of ice 'cause it was very very hot out. we brought lots of drinks. it was sooooooo fun. silly mommy forgot about taking pictures until later, and of course she forgot the real camera and had to take them on the cell phone and OF COURSE, she doesn't know how to send them to her 'puter, but she is gonna figure it out soon. there were a bunch of pups there and a man from the newspaper kept taking my picture. i never went to a baseball game before, but i was a very good boy so mommy said i can go again next year. my mommy loves me soooo much. she loves to take me everywhere.

i am pooped pals so i am going to go to bed now.

i got to go to a picnic

hello pup pals. i had a busy day yesterday. i got to go to a picnic yesterday for special childrens. it was so much fun. at first it was scary cause right when i got there it started to thunder and lightening and rain very hard. mommy put us in the car and we just sat there for a long time. so i took a little nappy. when the storm stopped it was time to play with the kids. i got tons of pets and belly rubs. and one little girl kissed my big ears. then i got a hot dog too.

after about an hour mommy took me home. the thunderstorm made our power go out. inside our house it was terribly warm. after about an hour it came back on though. mommy was very glad. she gets worried about me in the heat.
