Arrival Story:
I was originally looking for an Irish Terrier, but stumbled upon the Irish Red and White Setter. I was immediately taken with their gorgeous appearence, and after reading more about the temperament and personality of the breed was smitten and had to have one. Gloria arrived from a fantastic breeder in California and has been a joy (and equally a PAIN!) to live with ever since. She is so full of life and exuberance and is just happy to BE... It rubs off on me and makes me a happier person.

Time sure does fly! I arrived in Dallas, Texas on August 12th, 2005, from California. What a long flight! I was so scared... When my new mom picked me up from the airport (I didn't know who she was at first!) I didn't want anything to do with her. I tried to hide under the car and I wasn't about to let her drag me around with that leash!

Eventually though, I warmed up. My new family consists of my mom, and my new dog brother Tanner. He likes to bully me around but mom protects me... I'm still a bit shy around new people but mom mentioned something about ob-ee-dience classes and how they will benefit me. Sounds like fun! We have practiced learning "sit". I get so excited when mom asks me to "sit" that sometimes I forget what I'm supposed to do!

Anyway, dinner is ready and I'm starving. Bye!
