When he can't have a toy that he has nearly destroyed. Sitting in the backseat; he loves to be on a lap in the car.

Favorite Toy:
Rope, kong, nylon bones, a stuffed kangaroo that we call "Roo."

Favorite Food:
He only gets his dog food and the occassional piece of carrot or apple. He also likes cheese, and peanut butter.

Favorite Walk:
High Park and to Book City for a treat from the staff.

Best Tricks:
Outrunning other dogs by doing fast turns; jumping up for toys; speaking to us for treats.

Arrival Story:
Oliver was brought into a vet clinic where my mother works. He was 10 weeks old and near death with mange and worms, etc. The family who rescued him could not afford to fix him since he would need 6 weeks of treatment at the clinic. He was scheduled to be euthanized. My mom called and said that she had a daschund puppy for us, if only we had a house. We had put an offer on a house that day and so Oliver was meant to live with us. Oliver came to our house 3 days after we moved in, which was 2 days before Christmas. He has been the best gift we have ever had!

Bio:
Oliver is part daschund/part beagle. He is long like a weiner dog, but has tall legs like a beagle. He has a daschund head, and body, but a beagle tail. We call him our Weagle. We get stopped on the street by strangers all the time to find out what kind of dog he is since he is so unique looking. He has been called the perfect city dog by many passersby.
