Arrival Story:
One winter day early in December2003 we went to get some coffee and saw that there was a pet adoption going on. We decided to go "just to look." We already had Guinness and we were thinking of getting him a brother or sister, but hadn't talked too seriously about it. At the pet adoption we saw this great Australian Shepherd Mix. We played with the dog, but realized that two Aussies might be too crazy (and destructive). As we were leaving one of the volunteers said she had the perfect dog for us. She brought us to Stanley. We saw him and immediately fell in love with him. They told his he had been found wandering the streets of a small town in Central Utah. He had been at the shelter and no one claimed him. We took him out and walked him around. Without hesitation, we knew this dog was meant to be a member of our family. Luckily, Guinness didn't seem to mind (especially once he showed Stanley who's in charge)!

Bio:
I realized now that I haven't really told you much about me. I am such an easy going dog, there isn't too much that really bothers me, except when no one wants to play. I also love running. In fact, I run everywhere I can. My mom and dad are sometimes afraid I will get lost. The cool thing about having a brother is that I can play with him, except sometimes he doesn't like it when I bite his head. I don't understand why. I also love smuggling toys and bones outside when I can. If I am really lucky I find one of Mom's sock to take out with me. Man, I have a great life. The only problem is that I wish my family fed me human food more. But I forgot to tell you I LOVE ice. I'll even shake for it!

No Bed Jumping????

OK, so apparently, mom and dad are trying to curb my bed jumping habit. I guess there is something about some baby coming at some point in the next few months. I don't really care too much about, but if its going to affect my ability fo jump on mom and dad's bed, I think there might be a major problem!!! I love my mom and dad's bed. I sleep on it all day when mom and dad are at work. I can't imagine that changing. I need to come up with a plan so I can keep doing it. If you have any good ideas, let me know. I am going to have to take some serious action. Hmmm....serious, me? Not really, but when it comes to bed jumping, it's critical!

Happy Bed Sleeping!
