RUNNING! barking, digging in the yard, hugs, playing ball, being on the couch, bed, any furniture, argh! Laying on my back to play or chew a bone like an otter. Tummy rubs are the BEST!!

Being on the floor, mom trying to suck my hair out with the vacuum! Nail trims. Listening to the command "no!"

Favorite Toy:
my stuffy cow and bone, (I LOVE to hump them) my pal Bandit, (like to hump him too!)

Favorite Food:
marrow bones, cheese, popcorn, raw carrots...yum! and, eeewww , kitty roca

Favorite Walk:

Best Tricks:
shake a paw

Arrival Story:
I picked Lexi out of a brand new litter. When I picked her up to hold her, she licked my nose and peed all over me, letting me know we were destined to be together! She didn't do well in puppy obedience training, was a BIG scaredy cat and still is! She's FULL of personality and always makes us laugh. Loves to give those big "sucky puppy eyes" when you're eating, in hopes that you'll give in and give her some.

I love my two cats "Bandit" and "Oreo" too! I'm a runner, and any opportunity to bolt, I'll take it! I've discovered I can jump the fence now too.

Life As I Know It

I Turned 2!

Wow, time has flown by, and I can't believe I turned 2! My birthday was on October 10th, one day before my boy masters' birthday on the 11th. He (Kolton) turned 11. Mom gave me hugs and kisses and a yummy chew stick. Darn her anyway, she forgot the liver pate' cake! Sigh...it's ok though, I know I'm loved.

Recently, mom and dad bought this thing called a "gentle leader" for me to wear on our walks. I DESPISE the damn thing! I'm no longer the boss when we go out for walks. I fight like crazy for the first 5 minutes or so, to get the thing off, and I do suceed sometimes, ha ha, but man, they're quick at getting it back on! I suppose it's not SO bad. So I go along with their game of control. It does make the walks nicer for us all, so I guess I'll live with it.

Oh, and the other news I have, is that my best bud "Bandit" got hurt really bad at the beginning of September. He was out for his evening prowl as usual, and we heard a nasty scream around 12:30 in the morning. When we all went outside to investigate, we found him sitting at the bottom of the deck stairs, and he didn't look so good! Mom carried him in the house, and he was breathing funny and bleeding under his arm. Mom and dad rushed him to the emergency vet, and we all figure he was attacked by a coyote! He ended up with two displaced ribs, various puncture wounds and lots of bruising. It took him quite a while to get better, and I couldn't wrestle with him or jump his bones for a long time... :( He's doing lots better now though, and has healed up real well. We're back to our fun and games too!

I also had my very first trip to a place called a "dog groomers." Mom and dad were going crazy with all my shedding. So, mom took me in, and the lady there was REAL nice to me. I got a bathe, and my nails done, and brushed and massaged! I was pretty scared at first, but boy was it heavenly, and mom couldn't stop hugging me and smelling me. Silly mom!

Well that's it for now! Take care my friends.
