Arrival Story:
I had an intense urge to rescue a greyhound so I found a wonderful rescue organization called Greyt Friends (www.greytfriends.org). They placed Champy with me 2 years ago. He was easy to train and is now one of the family.
Bio:
Champy came to be at 8 years old -- his teeth were about rotted out of his head because they feed racing greyhounds not-made-for-human-consumption beed bi-products - raw! Disgusting! His coat was dull and he had a lot of bald spots. They also don't give racing greyhounds heart worm preventative or any other 'normal' shots! It's crazy what they get away with. He even broke his leg (that's how he stopped racing) and they didn't even splint it! So now he's happy and healthy (except the damage done to the teeth)!
