Arrival Story:
Because my dear little Chihuahua Candy went to the Rainbow Bridge in July, my sister thought I should have another little doggie in my house so she gave me a 7 month old dog she had raised from a puppy. On September 19th I brought home little Mudrick, just a 5 pound half -Miniature Pinscher half-Pomeranian. He loved us all at first sight and acted very happy to have us for his own.

Bio:
My sister raises dogs and owns Mudrick' s parents: Jiffy, a purebred Pomeranian, and Pip, a purebred MinPin. Her husband named this little fellow "Mud" because when he saw him just at birth he said the little puppy looked like a blob of "mud". That name stuck and later Randy decided to make the name a little more official and called him Mudrick. One day I was curious about the name Mudrick and put it in Google and guess what? It means "wise", so we named him, officially, Mudrick the Wise. We were all surprised that the name Mudrick is actually a surname of Czech or Slovak origin. Little "Mud" sits on the couch by the living room window wishing he could get out and chase coyotes with the big dogs but because he is such a little fellow he can only go outside in a harness with leash, escorted by one of his humans. My husband calls him the Little Fox or Foxie. Mud was the only puppy that Jiffy and Pip had in the February litter and he doesn't look much like a Pom or a Min-Pin, except perhaps for his head and long legs. Most people think he is a Chihuahua. People also ask us if we clipped his ears since he is half-MinPin. His ears are naturally like this!
