Grandma came to see me

Grandma came to my house and brought me toys. Well okay, toys for me and Rowdy. Rowdy chewed up one of the toys right away but he sure had fun. I played fetch with my toy until I was soooo tired. I got lots of pets. I like it when people come to see me!

House guests again

I was soooooo happy to have an overnight guest. I sat in his lap and took his socks. I tried to lay on his bed but I got in trouble for that! I made sure I got pets long before my brother Rowdy.
I have decided to snuggle more with my mom to convince her that I am growing up. I looooove to bark at the door bell and run circles around people coming to see ME but I seem to get in trouble for that too! :( Mom wants me to do something called 'place' and sit nice for petting. It is sooo hard to wait when I know they came over to play with ME!
I went on a walk and sat for petting very nicely for several people in the neighborhood. Rowdy always looks bored but he just doesn't know that if you sit nice and look cute you get all kinds of attention. He finally rolled over and got his belly rubbed but I got the pets right back!

Grandma is in charge!

My mom and dad went out of town and left grandma in charge. She looooves me and by brother Rowdy. Grandpa pets when he has to but I think he is not a dog person. I was a pawfect girl of course but Rowdy chewed up a bowl when Grandma went to the store. I got play ball outside, sleep with Grandma, and get special dinner. I sure was sad and tired when she left but I was happy to see mom and dad! Those nice people at the kennel love to see me but snuggling with Grandma is better!

House guests

Yea!! Someone came to see ME! I love all the attention! I gave kisses and got to play ball. I even got to be the wake up committee! I love to play the sock game where I take the guest's socks and wait for the then to notice so we can play chase! My mom kept taking the socks away from me, no fun mom. I hope my new friends stay ahwile.

AAAHH CHOO

I had fun this weekend and went on a long walk with my brother Rowdy. We stopped and talked to a nice lady on the corner who didn't think I was a golden retriever because of my light color. She gave me good pets and said I was pretty. I don't think I am going on a walk today because my mom keeps making funny noises and grabbing for tissues! I am having a countdown to my birthday. I hope I get lots of good presents and have a party.

I hate yucky weather!

The sun is finally out and I hope I get to go for a walk today. My mom looked outside a few times so I am hopeful. I keep hearing talk about a birthday coming up....I will be three very soon! There is also talk of how I should be more grown up by now...whatever that is! I have a feeling there are some sneaky plans going on about streamlining my behavior choices. My mom has been watching a lot of The Dog Whisperer lately. Have I really picked on my brother that much? Well, here to hoping I go outside and sniff the neighborhood.
