Arrival Story:
Ajax was at a shelter for a year and a half! We really wanted to adopt a dog and we went looking for a black lab mix. Ajax was pretty cute, too, so we met him and he chose us as his owners.

My Tail of Devotion for Ajax

There is so much to say about Ajax. We owe a lot to him. He is our main reason for being so crazy about dogs. He was our first dog together and we really didn't know much. He turned out to be a bit of a project, behavior-wise. We wanted to learn as much as we could so we could be great dog owners. It just snowballed from there. We started reading books, going to seminars, taking classes in obedience and agility, and I even started working at a humane society to help more dogs (little did I know that we would end up with five of them!). I loved dogs when I was a kid, but I forgot about it for a while until Ajax rekindled that love. He recently earned his CGC title which is a huge accomplishment for him. Ajax doesn't let people into his heart easily, but when he does he is completely devoted. He opened up a whole new world for us and we will be forever grateful.
