A day in the life of Daisy

October 7th, 2005 (day after surgery)

Well yesterday was a very interesting day. Mommy and daddy left me at the vet to get spayed. I still don't know what that means, but I woke up very sleepy when daddy picked me up. I was cold and uncomfortable for most of the night. Daddy kept covering me up with a blanket and mommy kept petting me.

Today I feel a little better, but still slept a lot. Mommy came home with something she called a cone. I am not sure what it is for, but something tells me I am not going to like it. Well I am going to check out my new toys and catch you all later.

September 25th, 2005

Well hopefully today I get to stay at home. I had a full day yesterday and am pooped. The car right got me a little sick and mommy got the brunt of it. She seemed ok with it.

Well I think I am going to take it easy.

Mommy just signed me up here at Dogster. I am so excited that I can soon have pals and already have a few bones. I like bones.

Today we are going for a car ride to Newark, CA to see grandpa for his birthday. This will be the first long ride for me. I like the short trips, but am a little anxious about potty breaks. Plus where is there for me to play in a car? Usually I sit on mommy's lap and she doesn't like it when I scratch her when playing.

Well, it is bath time so I smell good for the family. I like baths but the sink is getting a little too cramped for me.
