Wild Thing

Life keeps getting better and better,.... Yet tiring!

I've been having so much fun with my boxer-roommates.... And the getting gets better! One of the puppies is going to stay with us forever and be my brother!! His name is Hank and by golly he is a darn good time! Us four boxers are running amok in the house, playing, eating, patroling the yard.... good times! I sleep darn good at night!
Last Sat my mum, dad, auntie kim, and I went to another agility trial. But I really wasn't in the mood. We had a BBQ the night before with some of mummy & daddies friends (and my beloved auntie and uncle), AND my cousin Ant and my brother's littermate Dude. Yep... tired again! Mum wasn't impressed when I barreled through the fence around the agility field. I didn't feel like listening, I just wanted to run around and check things out. Don't get me wrong, I was a perfect angel over at the tent.
Anyway! Yah for getting a new brother!!

Wish Come True!!

Oh my goodness,.... oh my goodness!! My mummy must loooove me so much! I've been asking for a sissy,.. and I've got even better! My girlfriend Millie is living with us! I've been playing with Millie for a long time! She is a beautiful fawn boxer,... and loves to play with me! I'm not so sure about the puppies she has with her. I just walk away from their area. Mum says they are about to go to their new homes. Except for one. Earl. She also said it's only for a couple of months that Millie and her mommy (and son Earl) are going to be here. But for the time being,.. we are running! And playing! And I'm soooooooooo happy! Phew! And exhausted! Mum took us both for a walk this afternoon. She said she was outright shocked,.. and so very proud. We each stayed on either side of her and walked like the proud boxer couple we are! Mum said we must have been quite the sight. (We do make a handsome couple... Have I mentioned Millie is so pretty? Oh! How I love her! I give her LOTS of kisses!)
Yikes! I'm pooped. Time to hit the sack!

First Agility Trial!!

This past Saturday my mum and dad packed up a bunch of stuff and me and off we went on a road trip! And when we got to this field place,... my Auntie Kim was there too!! How cool so far! Well we set up some chairs and stuff,.. and you should have see all the other dogs!! Oh my goodness it was amazing!
We all walked around a little bit, just checking stuff out... and you know what,... my auntie gave me a new mallard duck! Oh how I love my duck! I carried it around, mum laughed at me. (I've been carrying it around the house all week too. Mum says I discovered how to quack it without destroying it,... my last mallard from my auntie spontaneously busted open at the neck.... But I digress...)
Anyway! We were at an agility trial! I was jumping with the 24" ers. Which meant we were the last ones to go. And I was the second to last for both runs.
During our turns, mum and I went out, I did a couple of jumps or obsticles, then I would see people and have to go check them out, or go show them how fast I could run around the field. But then I remembered (because she was calling me) that my mum was there, and I would go back and do a couple of things with her, .. then I would go check some stuff out again, then go back to mum again. When I did my obsticles I did them really good... mum said so. Then a whistle would blow and off the field we went. Something about our time being up. Heck I wasn't even done!
My mum kissed me and told me how proud she was. She said we may not have done well by agility standards, but we went out and gave it a good go. She said I was a SuperStar to her. (I already knew that!)
She also said that she was really super-duper proud of me between the runs. For some crazy reason she thought that I would be wild and try to play with everydog. Nah. I was cool just to hang out and chill with my people. Let's face it, my three favorite peeps were there. My daddy was way cool. We hung out a whole bunch. Mum says she couldn't have done it without him and my auntie. Something about a "support group." My auntie took some pictures too! (They are on my photopages!) Aahhhh... I love that gal! (She's good for kissing!)
Wow.. what a long crazy day! I gotta tell you,.. I slept really well that night!
Mum says we have another one in a couple of weeks! I'm pretty excited! We learned some good stuff this weekend. (Or at least my mum did!)
