Rusty LOVES his family:greeting them when they come home, playing & just hanging out. Loves romping with dogs&trying to get other animals to play.Loves nature,even follows flight of birds in the sky&pokes at bumble bees in flowers.
Favorite Toy:
Rusty favors different toys on different days, but always loves his newest toy& his collection of different kinds of balls.
Favorite Food:
Rusty is very picky, even about people food, but he does love bits of leftover steak! Some treats light him up, others leave him cold, but he always likes marrow type treats. A real favorite.
Favorite Walk:
All nature walks are treats he relishes, but his special walk is through our wooded property cuz it's his kingdom. A short walk, but special!
Best Tricks:
Rusty went to doggie school, &can do lots of tricks, but only when he feels like it. I'd say his best trick is acting more like a kid than a dog! How's he do that?
Arrival Story:
Rusty helped heal our broken hearts when we lost our 14 yr old wonderful lab to old age & sickness. For a while, we said we couldn't have another dog...couldn't relpace him or go through that pain again. But our love for Casey needed to be shared in tribute to him, and that need sent us on the quest that brought us Rusty. There's always room for more love.
Bio:
Rusty is an f-1 goldendoodle from Gleneden in W.Va. We drove down to pick him up, & I still remember the first time I saw him, sitting outside the little house where the dogs lived, looking like he owned the world. He took one look at me & turned tail right back through the door. I don't think he wanted to leave. I like to think he's since changed his mind...
