Arrival Story:
I was at Traders Village and went to look at the Chihuahuas they had for sale. I wasn't going to buy one, JUST look! I walked in the room and looked across at a cage full of babies, then Beauregard and I locked eyes and it was love at first sight. They couldn't get him out fast enough for me. It has been 10+ years of the greatest love!

Bio:
He loves kids and will bark when he first meets you, but feed him and he is all yours. Beau is almost 13 now and he has a bulging disc in his back and it is effecting the use of his back legs. He is on steriods and is responding well to the treatment. The vet said no more jumping, but try telling Beau that! There are ramps and lots and lots of big pillows on the floor for him. As long as he is happy and pain free, we will work around it! Beauregard turns 14 in January so we went for a geriatric check up and eveything came back ok. He has definite signs of his age, but he is fairly healthy for 14. I am so happy about that! His back problem has not flared up again since last year so I have a great hope of several more healthy years with my great love.
