Arrival Story:
At the age of 3 months, I was left at a "kill shelter" by my original owner (who named me "Bullet" - not in line with my peaceful ways). After over 1 1/2 months confined in a small pen with two other dogs, I met my soon-to-be owner, who had been searching for a puppy just like me. He saw my photo on the shelter's web page (it's in the photo album - the one where I haven't grown into my ears yet), and came to my rescue. Having been there so long, I was reluctant to leave at the time; who knew what fate had in store (I am, by nature, a cautious dog -- cf. my pet peeves)? However, I found myself with a loving family and all the dog friends I could ever want.
Bio:
I am originally from Vancouver, Canada (my people tell me that's why I'm so nice), where I practiced snowdog law. I have worked hard, chewing pinecones and sticks late into the night, and finally made partner. Now I have started my own practice in California, where I can do work that I love, keep reasonable hours, and spend more quality time with loved ones. (Well, that's the narrative that my people seem to entertain themselves with; I find it's generally best to humor them.)
