Belmonte is not much of a trickster but he loves to POLITELY jump up on us to give us hugs. He knows how to sit, down, shake and give a high five.
Arrival Story:
My husband and I made a deal: He re-enlists in the Army and I get another (third) dog. We went to a shelter "Just to Look". After seeing about 100 of the same lab mixed breeds, we were walking to the car a little disappointed when we noticed a fenced area we hadn't been to yet. We headed over, seeing the same breeds, again, when the cutest little terrier mix came walking out of nowhere. We spent some time with him and left. We went out to eat and decided to go back and walk him one more time. We did and he stole our hearts. He was in our car headed back to our house less than an hour later!
