Arrival Story:
I adopted him from my friend James, a coworker, who had moved to a house with no yard--and Chewy was NOT an inside dog. I was living with my (awful) ex at the time on 10 acres north of town so it was perfect. I fell in love with him instantly.

Bio:
Unfortunately, Chewy stayed with the ex when I got fed up with his manipulation, possessiveness, attempts to control me and belittle me. I sobbed for days but I had no place to take him, and he really was better off on the property with my ex ... even if he was a mean SOB. At least he treated the dog well even if he wasn't the most affectionate guy in the world. So Chewy is still happily terrorizing the chickens in Elk ... I guess maybe choosing "no longer with us" wasn't exactly true but since he's no longer with me, I feel the same heartbreak.
