Favorite Toy:
A stuffed zebra with squeeky...It really doesn't look like a zebra any more, just a mangled matter of black and white!! It has been sewed and stitched, but he still carries it around and sleeps with it!
Favorite Food:
Just about anything that we are eating. He is a begger, I know, it is our fault!
Favorite Walk:
He loves to walk on the college campus in our town and play in the fountian,.
Best Tricks:
He does the basics (sit, stay, speak, shake) He does this thing that if you tell him to get your (peoples) fleas, he will lightly nibble on your arm!
Arrival Story:
My husband and I were looking for a medium to large dog, for our first dog together and we wanted to rescue one. I was talking to a friend one day and she told me that her mom had a dog that she found in her neighborhood that needed a home. So, we went to check it out, and he was a sight! It was cold out at the time so this woman had him in the garage. She told us about him, that for the most part he was calm, but could get very excited, and that she posted flyers and nobody claimed him, so he was ours if we wanted him. Dante was well taken care of in the sense that he was neutered, and semi-trained. He was about one at the time, so we took him and put an add in the paper, just in case he was someones dog. Well, to our excitement, nobody came foward and during that time we had become very attached, so he became a part of the family!! He is mamas baby and daddys play mate!!!
Bio:
He loves to cuddle on the couch or on the bed and act like he is the tiniest dog (he is 88lbs)-he will try to ball up in your lap- it's the cutest thing and a little painful too!!
