A Bit Nervous!

For some reason, I have been a bit nervous of late and currently gnawing on my tail. My family does try to intervene with chews and favorite toys as necessary. I've been to the doctor and such. That was a few weeks ago. Now things are beginning to settle down. I think it has to do with the heat, now that summer is happening in Florida.

It's a Girl of the Two-Legged Variety

Mommy has been very busy with the little one born five months ago, but its another girl in the family. Just so Daddy doesn't feel sooo outnumbered he says, "All the fish are male."

The little monster had to be in the hospital for three weeks and the first week Mommy didn't come home at all. I ran away when saw Momma since I didn't recognize her right away, but quickly warmed up when I did.

I enjoyed the three months Mommy was home. But then she had to go back to work. *whine*. No one to scratch my belly. I would go run and hide when when my new little sister would cry and scream.

I know that things will get better because my first family had kids, and I got a lot of nice "additions" to my meals. That will be happening again soon!!!

Soon to Meet New Companion

It seems that Mommy and Daddy have been waiting and waiting and waiting. Well, I am getting just as anxious, too. We will have to see what happens.

I got a nice new cool haircut for the summer too!!! I feel so much better and so much less itchier.

Cleaning

Mommy and Daddy have been cleaning like crazy for the past few months. It's all starting to drive me crazy. They put a gate up to the little one's room (the two legged variety) and I have been good about it soooo far. We will see. I like to follow my Daddy everytime he goes in.

I had my hair trimmed a few months ago, but already my coat is grown fully back. I get it done during the shedding season to keep too much fur from flying too much. Already here in Florida the weather is hot, and the rainy season starts soon, so that should help.

Mommy and Daddy are Acting Strange

Well, tomorrow, Mommy and Daddy find out what the little two legged one will be. They brought this little thing to try to get me comfortable about the little two legged one. I think the Vet put them up to it. My other family, whom I was with for nearly a year and a half had kids. But Mommy and Daddy also let me smell the new things that they bring into the house so I become comfortable and know that some thing is going on.

But I have become their "baby" too and I don't think they will every give me up. Especially Daddy!!

New Companion

Mommy found out in November, that I will be getting a new companion, of the two legged variety. I am not sure what to think right now. I will have to see when my new friend arrives.

The Park

Yip, Yip, Yip. Here I go to the dog park.

The weather has been nice lately and more to mine and Daddy's liking. Mommy says it is too cold for where we live. I don't get to go much in the summer as Mommy and Daddy are concerned for me in the heat down here in Tampa.

My favorite activity is to run and run and run. I am so fast I can keep up with the greyhounds and I can stop faster then they can.

Walks - not as far as you think

Okay, so maybe I don't get past the end of the drive. I'll let you know how far I want to go. When I stop, the feet get planted and no matter how hard you tug, I stay. But if I see we are going to the car, yep, I'm all for it.
