Arrival Story:
I had been on and on at my parents for a dog and really wanted "Lassie!" My dad heard of some collies for sale and off he went. He went to the address given to him and came across a caravan/trailer park. He approached the caravan and saw a bunch of puppies living underneath. He spoke to the owner of the dogs and she said they were the collies for sale. My dad saw they looked nothing like Lassie and decided to pass. As he walked back to the car, one of the pups had jumped in the back and was waiting inside. My dad (a closet softie) decided to keep her as he didn't have the heart to leave her at the caravan site. So he paid £10 for her. When he got back home my mum and I were in shock as we were anticipating Lassie. This skinny, filthy thing creeped inside our house and within minutes into our hearts too.

Bio:
After the initial shock when Cindy arrived on the scene, she soon melted all our hearts. We fed her up, bathed her and gave her lots of love. The following summer she won "Best Condition" in the local Dog Show and "Most Appealing Eyes." I was so proud. She was my childhood dog and my best friend. Everywhere I went, she went too. She even would go up the slide in the park after me and slide down!! She didn't have a mean bone in her and everyone loved her. She was in the High School play as Sandy in "Annie." She stole the show! Cindy lived until she was 18 years old. A great age for a dog. She will never be forgotten and for me.... she really was my childhood.
