Goodbye

On Friday, December 28, 2007, I lost my battle with cancer. I hope that my dad will be able to close his eyes and remember all of the good times that we had together - playing ball in the backyard, playing in the water from the hose, walking the trails, and swimming in the streams.

Bladder Cancer

I just learned that I have bladder cancer. I have been very uncomfortable peeing and pooping for several weeks. Everyone thought it was probably a UTI, but it didn't get much better with antibiotics. I just had a urethral scope and the doctor found a tumor in my bladder. He biopsied it and is sending it to the lab. When the results come back, Dad will know what is going on.

In the meantime, everyone, please send me their good wishes - please? I want to get back to my old self of swimming and enjoying walks in the park - my two favorite things.
