Arrival Story: I knew her mother, Meggie Joe, was an excellent rabbit hunter and I wanted a dog to field trial. I met Gidget at five weeks old and she picked me out as much as I picked her out. She climbed up to my face (she was only about a pound and a half!) and tugged on the bottom of my jeans and growled. That was the one I wanted!
Bio: Gidget is a very accomplished little girl. She has thirteen different AKC titles in field, agility, obedience, rally, and tracking. She has three canine 'siblings' - three miniature wirehaired Dachshunds. Gidget is the smallest (7 lbs) and youngest (5 on 9/22/06). She is a perfect little girl - cute, smart, biddable, funny, did I say cute?

Mom was so happy to get to meet Yippy and her mom last weekend. They were both just as wonderful as she thought they'd be!! I wanted to go, too, but the airline Mom was on doesn't allow dogs in the cabin - boo! She said maybe next time....
