 Birthday: September 18th 1981
Likes: Chewy was all about going " Buh By "

Pet-Peeves: Strangers around our home

Favorite Toy: Anything so long as we were playing with him

Favorite Food: P-I-Z- Z-A ( We HAD to spell it ....... and he eventually caught onto that too.

Favorite Walk: Anywhere & everywhere.

Best Tricks: Sit , stay, speak, sit handsome, down & he could spell !

Arrival Story: We just moved into our first apartment as a married couple & wanted a dog. We happened across a " free to good home " ad and drove out to meet him. As soon as they opened the door, Chewy jumped 6 stairs and landed right in my husbands arms. The rest is ( as they say ) history .....

Bio: Please spay / neuter.
I crossed the bridge before my 1oth birthday because of a preventable cancer.
I lost some weight and was tested for every possible thing. All tests came back negative ....... TWICE. My food had been changed, my weight went back on & all was assumed to be fine.
My disposition & energy levels never changed. There were no warning signs. Then one day as Mom waited for Dad outside in the yard with the babies I lifted my leg to do my business and what Mom saw was straight blood. As soon as Dad got home we were at the emergency vet. With no warning, like a sucker punch, they were told a tumor had been growing inside me. It could not be felt and had only been detected by an ultrasound. It had punctured my kidneys. I had no hope.
Mom & Dad went home alone that night. Or so they thought ...........

Forums Motto: For my brther Meatball: Die cancer Die

I watch from the bridge as my family grows.
My Kelly & Jay are babies no more but almost grown up. Is it possible I have been gone that long ?
I was here to greet my sister Brandi. I had never met her in life yet knew she was mine & she was on her way. Now we both sit a constant vigil ..... watching over our beloved family.
They say memories are golden
They say memories are golden
well maybe that is true.
I never wanted memories,
I only wanted you.
A million times I needed you,
a million times I cried.
If love alone could have saved you
you never would have died.
In life I loved you dearly,
In death I love you still.
In my heart you hold a place
no one could ever fill.
If tears could build a stairway
and heartache make a lane,
I'd walk the path to heaven
and bring you back again.
Our family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again
