Arrival Story:
Chase was born near Lake Tahoe, in the winter with snow all around. He and his littermates had a warm kennel outside, but he had a thick undercoat and when we saw pictures of the puppies, they looked like balls of fluff. We fell in love with them and drove all the way up to Tahoe to get him.

We lost Chase in June 04 to hydrocephalus, a brain disease very uncommon to malamutes. We don't know what caused it, and we tried everything to save him, but he kept getting worse until he eventually just stopped breathing and we had to let him go. He was only 6 months old. We miss him terribly.
