Likes:
Lounging on the couch or at the corner of the house where he can see the whole yard. Sitting and staring and waiting for us to give him some of whatever we're eating.

Pet-Peeves:
Getting groomed! He hates it.

Favorite Toy:
Anything stuffed that he can disembowel, and paper for ripping and shredding.

Favorite Food:
Any kind of human food except lettuce, bananas, and tomatoes.

Favorite Walk:
Hellyer dog park

Best Tricks:
The Flip (lying on the couch facing one direction, then flipping over to the other side)

Arrival Story:
Atlas had 7 littermates. When we went to pick out a pup, he was the one who came over and played with us and seemed excited and happy to be around us. So he became our Atlas!

Bio:
Atlas is the most patient dog in the world when it comes to waiting for us to give him some food. He'll rest his chin on the table or the couch or our legs, and slowly scoot closer and closer - probably thinking he's being inconspicuous. He also has a cool "flip" trick where he gets on the couch with his head towards the far end, then flips over so his head lands on our laps!! Unlike most malamutes, Atlas' ears don't stand up straight. Out to the sides is as straight as they get!
