Leave a bone for Tinkerbelle (RIP 1/8/07)

Nicknames: Tinker, Tink, Stinker, Tinkus, Stinkus, Stinkersmell

Quick Bio:
Likes: Basking in the sun, snuggling with my people and giving "lip lips."

Pet-Peeves: Not being acknowledged as Queen of the Manor. If another critter (human or animal) encroaches on my Queendom, a belligerent tootsie-roll will be swiftly deposited in a highly trafficked area.

Favorite Toy: Nylabone passed down from Riley (man it's heavy) & I love my bed! I rub & snuggle & nest in it. I also hide contraband in it, like the remains of a chicken breast stolen off the dining room table. I couldn't eat it all at once & had to save it for later!

Favorite Food: Tasty little real meat nibbles that my brother Tommy gives me! All my people spoil me terribly, as I have them all appropriately trained.

Favorite Walk: Anywhere in the sun! I love the sun!

Arrival Story: Tinkerbelle was adopted from the Humane Society in Sarasota, FL. She was pregnant when she arrived there, but the puppies growing inside were too big and they had to do surgery to save her tiny little life. When she came home, she looked like a lint-ball with legs! A few months later, we gave her a stylish haircut and decided to call her a "Malti-schnoodle." It's a newfangled breed!

Bio: Tinkerbelle is actually Riley's "Auntie;" she belonged to my parents. You see, Tink outlived her Mommy & Daddy (pictured with her at left). She now lives in Deltona with her human sister & niece. We do get to visit her every time we go to Florida! She is so lucky that her Mommy made provisions to ensure her care! Be sure to consider your four-legged loved ones when making your final arrangements! OH... AND BE SURE TO SPAY & NEUTER THEM, TOO!

1/8/07 - Well, at almost 17 years, Miss Tinkus was put down today . =( Her health had been getting worse each time we would visit, and she wasn't herself at all last month. She stopped eating & drinking yesterday, and could barely stand today.
We are all heartbroken, as she was the last little living piece of our Mother and Father. Godspeed, Miss Tink. Mom & Dad are waiting to welcome you...
