Arrival Story:
Sophie was at the local dog shelter. I went there to find a smaller dog, but was thinking more along the lines of a lap dog. Aaaanyway, I walked by one rat terrier who was barking and flilpping around in the cage. Kept going. Next a male Jack who was doing the same thing. Then there was Sophie. She was quietly laying there, waggling her tail, licking the bars. The woman who worked there said her favorite thing to do was to sit in your arms, looking over your shoulder. I met her. I loved her. Because they only adopted to people with JRT experience (a good idea) I felt like I had to adopt her - my family had a JRT since 1996. She came home the next day!!
Bio:
Sophie's definitely wired for sound like a typical JRT, but she's also really quiet and lovey once she gets comfortable. She sleeps under the covers and noses me when she wants back in. She's a belly flopper - will just FALL OVER to get some belly rubs. Mostly, though, she wants to be anywhere I am.
