Arrival Story:
Starsky and his Brother, Hutch, were dumped at a Dog Pound in Murray, KY. They both were due to be put to sleep so I drove 800 miles round trip to rescue them
Bio:
Starsky went to the Rainbow Bridge on February 4, 2006 after his heart became twice enlarged, fluid in his lungs, and ascites in his abdomen. Starsky had tested positive for heartworm about 18 months ago and even after two treatments never tested negative. His heartworms were so advanced by the time we got him that his heart had been permanently damaged. He got extra time because of rescue so we say our Fond Farewell to a wonderful dog that never gave up even to the last moment.
