Likes:
Shea loves to lay under the bed. No small feat when you see how much work it takes to get in and out of there. She also likes walks, car rides, games of tug, and watching TV.

Pet-Peeves:
Shea hates flashes of light so cameras are out of the question. Any kind of flash sends her scurrying under the bed. She's also not a big fan of the AKC dog show.

Favorite Toy:
Shea loves a plain old dish towel with knots tied in it.

Favorite Food:
Shea's not a big eater. The only thing that gets her excited is chicken broth. She likes a little poured on her Venison and Brown Rice Natural Balance. Spolied thing. She likes the occasional kleenex too.

Favorite Walk:
We walk through the neighborhood everyday and make the usual stops. She also likes visiting friends in Cambria, CA where she can walk on the boardwalk.

Best Tricks:
She does a really cute little dance with her raw hides. Sometimes she dances around her food bowl too.

Arrival Story:
Shea's a rescue dog. She was living with my MIL as a foster dog. We thought she was adorbale but we weren't sure if we could handle a deaf dog. We finally decided to give it a shot and we're so glad we did. It's rediculous how well she fits our lifestyle. Or do we fit hers? You'd think we were meant for each other.

Bio:
Shea was born deaf and has some vision problems. We thought about teaching her sign language but she really wasn't interested. We have our own little system of gestures that work really well. We pretty much forget that she's deaf for the most part.
