Arrival Story:
Chance was gotten purely by chance (hence the name). We already had a 10 year old cock-a-poo and were not looking to get another dog, especially not one as large as her! Some spur of the moment changes happened and we drove a route we've rarely taken. We saw a dog running down the middle of a very busy road, almost getting hit as impatient drivers tried to pass her. I made my husband stop the car (thus stopping traffic behind us) and I got out of the car and finally got this scared, skinny little girl to come to me. We got her safely into the car and back to our home. After many phone calls to various parks in the area, local vets, radio stations and the obvious dog pounds and such... no one ever called to claim this beautiful angel we had found. Little did I know then that she would be the one who would rescue me, she has truly been a blessing to me.
