Bunny Roo's Dog of the Week 10/26/2008

WOW!!!! I meet Bunny Roo at the Rainbow Bridge and we chase rabbits and play in the flowers and "Poof" I'm her Dog of the Week.
Momma was so happy 'cause you see, it will be 2 years on Nov. 13th that I left her and Daddy for the Bridge at age 4.
She misses me everyday and so does my Daddy.. But I'm happy and pain free and I have lots of friends just like Bunny Roo and I watch over you every day and nite...I miss you all too....

Riley's in Doogie Heaven

On Nov 10th, 2006 I would not know that this would be one of the worse weekends of our lives. Riley started limping Fri. night. and would not come up on the couch by Mom.
Sat Morning she was worse so we took her to the Vet and they did Xrays and determined she pulled a muscle because all looked Ok on the Xrays. They gave her muscle relaxers and we went home.
Sat. night she got worse and could not stand up on her back legs. So Sunday morning we took her to the emergency Vet who then sent up to a Specialist because she was "Bad".
They did a Mylogram and decided she did not need surgery but would keep her over night. By Monday morning she was totally paralysed in her back end and an MRI showed that a disc had ruptured and ........we needed to make a decission. She was in so much pain and would never ever get better. She was only 4 and the love of our lives. Never sick a day in 4 years. They say it was like and Anuresym in her spine. Shadows keeps looking for her to come home and so do we. All I know is that we gave her the best 4 years of her life and will always love her. :(

Riley's Trip to California

Riley traveled cross country to San Fransisco by car from Chicago.
She ate on Pier 39 at Sinbads and met many new freinds in each town we stopped at. She was a perfect little Lady the whole trip. We stayed with friends and she met "Jack", who made her ear bleed at their 1st meeting. Alittle ice and it was all ok.
We went to the Dog Park, toured San Francisco and drove back home.
She loved the car ride, in fact she slept on Mom's lap most of the trip.
She was a hit at every hotel. We are so glad we had this time with her.
Mom made a whole Scrapbook on the trip.
